About the Artist

A Voice That Bridges Worlds

Oscar Dom Victor Castellino is an international baritone, ensemble singer at the Royal Opera House, and composer of the Mars anthem "Rise to Mars". Born in a car on a busy Mumbai street with roots tracing to Goa, Oscar's journey from software engineer to opera singer began when Patricia Rozario discovered his extraordinary talent.

Oscar made his solo debut at Welsh National Opera as George Benton in Dead Man Walking. The Times UK described his performance as James Meredith in Kommilitonen! as "a highlight", while the Morning Star praised him as "mesmerising... with a commanding stage presence."

A graduate of the Royal College of Music and recipient of the Christopher Ball Welsh National Opera Scholarship, Oscar was selected to sing for the late Queen's Diamond Jubilee at the River Thames in 2012.
